(IsraelNN.com) A Saudi Arabia-sponsored interfaith conference to be held in Madrid in two weeks has invited Israeli left-wing Rabbi David Rosen, he told The Associated Press. The Saudi kingdom has been trying to show the world it is tolerant of other religions although Jewish symbols are forbidden to be displayed in the country. Saudia Arabia also has invited rabbis from outside Israel and representing Orthodox, Conservative and Reform movements. Rabbi Rosen said he will be one of 200 leaders at the three-day conference. He is the former chief rabbi of Ireland and is the president of the International Jewish Committee for Interreligious Consultations. He also is founder of the ultra left-wing Rabbis for Human Rights group. ![]() Check out the Chill Zone - Funny, Entertaining Videos © IsraelNN Syndications - This article may not be republished freely.
