Workers at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) are staging a surprise strike Tuesday and refuse to turn on the exchange's computers. The walkout is the second time in two weeks workers have shut down trading.

They are protesting working conditions and what they charge is a lack of good faith in negotiations with the TASE. The work disagreement forced the TASE to cut hours of operations last April, but a resumption in negotiations allowed operations to return to normal until two weeks ago.
