Israeli and European Union officials say Israel allowed fuel to reach Gaza's sole power station on Friday. An EU official said an estimated 600,000 liters of industrial fuel would be pumped through the Nahal Oz border terminal to the facility, enough to keep the plant running for several days.

Israel has closed road crossings into the Hamas-controlled area in response to the launching of at least nine rockets and mortar shells in violation of the cease-fire that started last week.
