Ali Larijani, speaker of the Iranian parliament, said Wednesday that the country's developing nuclear power will be used for peaceful purposes but will become a military weapon if the country is attacked. Larijani, formerly Iran's top nuclear negotiator, also warned that the western world has little time left to come to terms with the country over an agreement on the nuclear program.
"Don't provoke Iran, otherwise you will face a done deal that will block the path of your return to a compromise with Iran," Larijani told the parliament. A top commander of the Revolutionary Guards on Wednesday stated, "If you want to move towards Iran, make sure you will bring artificial legs and walking sticks because you will not have any legs to return on should you come."
