At a conference yesterday in the Arab town of Baka al-Gharbiyeh, former Knesset Speaker Avraham Burg declared that the idea of “two states for two nations; one Jewish and one Arab” within the present borders of Israel was not feasible because “the place is too small”.

Burg also called upon Israel to renege on its sovereignty to the Temple Mount and for Arabs to abandon their calls for any “right of return” so as to allow for resolution of the conflict.
