Netanyahu Tells Sarkozy Jerusalem United Forever


Likud chairman and Opposition leader Binyamin (Bibi) Netanyahu told French President Nicolas Sarkozy Tuesday morning that Jerusalem is the united and eternal capital of Israel. The French president spoke impassionedly at the Knesset Monday in an emotional speech that included his allegiance to Israel's security and his vision of Jerusalem being divided and the capital of a new Arab state.

President Sarkozy is meeting Palestinian Authority (PA) chairman Mahmoud Abbas at this hour in Bethlehem, where he is promoting an industrial project.
