Report: Bombed Syrian Plant Destined To Help Iran
(IsraelNN.com) The Syrian nuclear facility that was bombed last September was part of a joint plan to enable Iran to develop a nuclear bomb until its own facility is ready, according to Der Spiegel, which will publish the story in its next edition, Monday. North Korea was a part of the project. Israel has been accused of having bombed the Al Kibar site in northern Syria.
Syria has claimed the site was an ordinary military base under construction, but the United States has maintained that the site was connected to nuclear development.
