Aviva and Noam Shalit, parents of abducted IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, have asked the Supreme Court to prevent the government from opening border crossings to the Gaza region and lifting the economic boycott over the Hamas leadership there until the Israeli hostage has been released.
The Shalit family was strongly critical of the decision to accept a temporary ceasefire with the terrorist organization last week, saying the deal left the family abandoned and was a violation of promises made by the government.
