Gaza terrorists attacked Israel with three Kassam rockets early Wednesday morning, less than 24 hours before the six-month "calm" is to take effect. The rockets exploded near the Zikim army base south of Ashkelon and near Sderot, and no injuries or damage was reported.
The "calm" is to begin at 6 a.m. Thursday amid widespread doubt that it will last. Vice Prime Minister Chaim Ramon (Kadima), one of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's closest friends and aides, called the agreement a capitulation to radical terrorists.
