Three Kassam rockets were fired at Israeli civilian targets in the Gaza Belt communities and Western Negev this morning. The rockets exploded in open areas. No one was injured and minimal damage was caused at the points of impact.

Concurrently, Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, Defense Minister Ehud Barak, and Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni are expected to meet and confirm the cease-fire with the Hamas terrorist organization this morning, by which a general cease fire would be in effect starting at 6 AM Thursday morning. The Hamas terrorist organization has already confirmed their side of the ceasefire.
