Palestinian Authority terrorist groups in Gaza said Tuesday night they would back the tahadiyeh, or period of "calm" brokered by Egypt between Hamas and Israel that is slated to start Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m., according to Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar.
The Hamas official told journalists at a news conference that representatives of the Fatah and Hamas terror factions would join European Union officials in Egypt to discuss arrangements to reopen the border crossing at Rafiah, which straddles the Gaza-Egyptian border, two weeks after the ceasefire begins.
