Palestinian Authority Arabs filed a complaint with Samarian police Monday night claiming Jews attacked an Arab shepherd with stones near the community of Yitzhar, stabbing his donkey and several sheep in the process.

A statement issued by the community of Yitzhar following initial media reports of the accusation denied knowledge of the incident. "We do not know of any resident or youth involved in such an act. We are convinced that police will thoroughly investigate the incident, and the community will assist in any way possible."
