Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's envoys to Turkey, Yoram Turbovich and Shalom Turgeman, returned Monday from Ankara with a positive report about their indirect talks with Syria through Turkish mediators.
The pair told the Prime Minister "there was a reiteration of the common will to continue with the talks. Regular meetings were agreed upon, and two more dates were determined for meetings during the next few weeks."
The topics that were discussed during the talks was not revealed, nor was the location of the meeting. Both Syrian President Bashar Assad and Prime Minister Olmert are expected to attend a conference in Paris of Mediterranean nations set for July 13.
