The Labor Party has announced at the end of its party meeting today that it would prefer governmental stability over calling for a general election, and that the ruling Kadima party must change its leadership.

At the meeting's conclusion, party members confirmed a statement that “If Kadima will not take active steps, the Labor Party will support the motion to dissolve the Knesset on June 25.”
