(IsraelNN.com) The Lebanese newspaper “A-Dayar”, associated with the Hizballah terrorist organization, has reported that the release of terrorist Samir Kuntar from Israeli prison is forthcoming. According to the paper, Kuntar has been asked by prison officials to prepare his personal belongings for release.

The Israel Prisons Service denies that Kuntar is scheduled for release at this time.

Kuntar was part of the Palestinian Liberation Front terrorist organization, and lead a terrorist attack by boat into northern Israel in 1979. He killed four Israelis, including: a twenty eight year-old man, his four year-old daughter, and two Israeli policemen who were responding to the attack. After he was convicted, he received four life sentences and has been in Israeli prison since.
