The former Sephardic Chief Rabbi of Israel, Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, (known as the "Rishon LeZion"), one of the leading Torah Sages of the religious Zionist movement, is currently undergoing an endoscopy medical procedure.
The public has been requested by Rabbi Eliyahu’s family to pray for Heavenly Mercy for Tzemach Mordechai ben Mazal Tov for a complete recovery.
