MK Yakov Cohen (UTJ) criticized the government’s recent conduct and call for immediate elections, saying:” It is obvious the current situation cannot go on…there is a fog and uncertainty without any government stability.” 

“We (United Torah Judaism) warned for some time that we must go to elections, that the public has lost its confidence in this government in every way…one should remember that Rabin resigned after much smaller things. We are dealing with so many different accusations, it is impossible to say you can run a country this way.” Cohen explained.
