(IsraelNN.com) Two residents of a community in northern Samaria have admitted they faked a story of a kidnapping by Arab terrorists in a village south of Shechem. The army received the report of the supposed kidnap around 2 a.m. Thursday and sent a large number of troops into the village to conduct a house-to-house search.

The two young men finally admitted that they had made up the story, and the army plans to press charges for what they said was a serious offense that endangered the lives of the soldiers and caused unnecessary aggravation to Arabs.
