The Israel Museum is publicly displaying two large sections of the "Great Isaiah Scroll" in a special exhibition for the State of Israel's 60th anniversary.
For the first time in 40 years, the public will be given the opportunity to see the two longest parts of the scroll, including the Prophet Isaiah's vision of peace: "and they shall beat their swords to plowshares."
The scroll is dated to about 120 B.C.E.
