IDF Military Police and Civil Administration forces, in conjunction with Israel Police, prevented a truck bearing 1,300 liters of dangerous sulfuric acid from entering the Arab city of Kalkiliya. The truck was stopped at the Eliyahu Crossing neighboring the Arab city, which is less than a kilometer from Kfar Saba.
The transfer of dangerous chemicals to Palestinian Authority-controlled areas is prohibited by Israel as they are often used as chemical precursors for explosives used in terror attacks on Israel.
