Ministers Avi Dichter, Shaul Mofaz, and Meir Sheetrit are willing to postpone a discussion on the best time to hold Kadima party primaries that was scheduled for next week, a “senior source” quoted by Army Radio said Thursday. The three are willing to wait and reschedule the meeting after Prime Minister Ehud Olmert’s attorneys cross-examine United States businessman Moshe Talansky.
Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni is not willing to wait on primaries, the source said, and believes that Olmert should be replaced as quickly as possible. Polls show that Livni is the most likely candidate to replace Olmert, followed by Mofaz.
