(IsraelNN.com) The Jewish community in Hevron asked the High Court to allow it to present its opposition to a petition filed by a left wing organization, which wants the court to allow it to conduct tours within the Hevron Jewish community. The petition by "Breaking the Silence" asked that the group be allowed to resume its tours in Hevron, after the IDF and police halted them because of the disturbances they caused.

The Hevron Jews wrote that the leftists' tours are "a provocative activity which involves breaking the law; altercations with citizens, police and soldiers; blocking of roads while risking lives and incitement of Hevron's Arab population against the Jewish residents."
