Seven years of Arab  terrorists attacks n Sderot have left the Negev town with two-bedroom apartments available for rent at 1,200 shekels ($365) a month. The government has offered inducements of up to a 50 percent discount in the property tax (arnona) and a 25 percent reduction in income tax.

However, city officials are worried that Sderot will have an image of a town for poor people and discourage more established families from moving there, according to Yeshiva World News.
