Transport Minister Shaul Mofaz told Kadima's ministers that "the current policy in Gaza is mistaken." The former defense minister voiced criticism of the indirect talks being held with Hamas and said it was unacceptable for Defense Minister Ehud Barak to carry out an independent policy that did not receive cabinet approval.
Regarding the prospect of elections, Mofaz said: "We must not fear elections. It is obvious that Barak's goal is to dismantle Kadima, and we must not cooperate with that. They should not try to teach us morality and clean-handedness," he added.
