Kadima Tourism Minister Gideon Ezra said Thursday morning that Prime Minister Ehud Olmert is in full control of the government and that he is functioning as usual despite the criminal investigation against him. He rejected assertions that the Prime Minister is not capable of running the government.

He said the problems that Israel faces need to be taken care of by a stable government instead of being left up in the air due to an election campaign or a political struggle resulting from an attempt to change the current government.
