NU/NRP Files No-Confidence Motion
(IsraelNN.com) The National Union / National Religious faction in the Knesset presented a no-confidence measure Wednesday afternoon, following the testimony against Prime Minister Ehud Olmert by businessman and philanthropist Moshe Talansky Tuesday.
Speaking to the press, the faction members referred to Labor leader Ehud Barak's statement Wednesday calling on Olmert to resign and said: "If Barak meant what he said, he will have a chance to prove it and support the motion next Monday."
