Ronen Merav, a longtime friend of missing IAF airman Ron Arad, said Tuesday he believes the government is doing all it can to bring about the safe return of all missing IDF members.
"The government is responsible for all its sons," he said. " If there is an opportunity to bring captives home, every effort must be exhausted to do so. It is nothing personal. Of couse the government must concern itself with all the missing soldiers, and if progress could be made regarding Ron, of course this should be a priority."
