(IsraelNN.com) The government has transferred more than 500,000 tons in humanitarian aid through Gaza crossings since last June, the Foreign Minister said Tuesday. Despite the escalation in lethal terrorist attacks the past several weeks, hundreds of trucks have passed through the crossings.

Seventy-five trucks, loaded with 2,690 tons of food and supplies, passed through the Karni grain depot this past Sunday, and 66 more trucks entered through the Sufa Crossing. At the Nahal Oz Fuel Dept, nearly 900,000 liters of fuel for transportation and power were delivered.
 
The government also allowed dozens of Gaza Arab to enter Israel for medical treatment until last Thursday's suicide truck bombing interrupted travel.
