Researchers at Jerusalem's Hebrew University, headed by Prof. Elka Touitou, have found a way to transmit medications to the brain via the nose.
The method has ramifications for those stricken by Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and other diseases. The components of the nasal administration have already been approved by the FDA, Haaretz reports.
The new method will be showcased at the Biomed Israel Conference 2008, taking place this week.
