An attempted suicide bombing attack on the Erez Crossing last Thursday has left 200,000 Gaza Arabs without electricity. Army soldiers foiled the attack by shooting at the truck, which contained four tons of explosives, before it reached the checkpoint.

The blast, which broke windows mile sway, cut two of the seven major power lines that supply Israeli electricity to Gaza.
