Workers Find Cave with Prehistoric Remains Reported: 04:14 AM - May/23/08
(IsraelNN.com) Construction workers who were preparing to lay a sewage line recently found a stalactite cave containing prehistoric artifacts and remains. The discovery was announced on Thursday, after experts had a chance to examine the findings. The cave contains many flint tools and the remains of several species that are no longer present in Israel, including red deer, buffalos, and bears.
