US Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) has been diagnosed with a brain tumor known as a malignant glioma in the left parietal lobe, the upper left portion of his brain.

The 76-year-old veteran senator from Massachusetts was rushed to Massachusetts General Hospital Saturday after suffering a seizure at his home on Cape Cod.
