A classic-car road rally began in London and is heading toward Jerusalem, bringing with it two new olim (immigrants to Israel).

The 18-day road trip will take the motorists under the English Channel to France, then to Switzerland, Italy and Greece. From Greece the cars will be flown to Israel, where participants will tour the country in their hot wheels. 

The two men making Aliyah (immigrating to Israel) are 26-year-old Yaniv Cohen of Manchester and 28-year-old Alexander Singer of London. They will be driving a 1948 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith.

The rally is sponsored by the Jewish National Fund-United Kingdom and the olim are being assisted by Nefesh B'Nefesh.
