Weather: Pleasant Temperatures for Bonfires Reported: 06:44 AM - May/20/08
(IsraelNN.com) Pleasant temperatures are predicted for Thursday night, when tens of thousand of bonfires will be lit to mark Lag b'Omer (the 33rd day of the counting of the Omer). Nighttime lows will be 18 degrees (64 F) in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv and 21 degrees (70 F) in Be'er Sheva. In Meron, where hundreds of thousands of people are expected to celebrate, the thermometer will dip to 16 (61 F). Daytime highs Friday will be in the mid to upper 20s (low 80s F).
