The Council for Higher Education approved the establishment of a new private college in Haifa on Monday. The college will be known as the Carmel Academic Center, and will be located near Haifa’s port. It will be headed by Professor Yehezkel Teller.
School officials said they hope the Council will approve degree programs in accounting, marketing, human resources, and similar fields. The new school will open at the beginning of the next academic year.
