Most Arabs in the Palestinian Authority (PA) reject the two-state solution, according to a new poll carried out by the Al-Najah University. It surveyed 800 Arabs in Judea and Samaria and 500 in the Gaza region. The poll revealed that 57.6 percent of the respondents reject the idea of two states on the historic land of Palestine (a Palestinian state and Israel)."
However, more than two-thirds support a new Arab state based on the 1949 Armistice Lines (Green Line). More than half of the respondents doubt that negotiations with Israel will lead to a new Arab state.
