Police are scheduled in the next hour to question Russian-born billionaire Arcadi Gaydamak on suspicions of money laundering. The latest probe against Gaydamak comes at the same time that the Knesset is discussing whether he violated Knesset rules in financing three Pensioner Party rebels who formed an alliance with him. Gaydamak previously has been investigated on other suspicions of illegally using money.

He formed the Social Justice party last year, and he has announced he will run for mayor of Jerusalem.
