(IsraelNN.com) Attorney Ophir Miller, who chairs the Reservists' Forum of the ruling Kadima party, announced Sunday he intended to file a complaint with the police against New Profile, a self-described feminist organization which encourages draft evasion by women and men.

Miller accused the group of "inciting, guiding and encouraging youths to evade their legal and moral obligation to serve in the IDF." The police complaint will stress that "New Profile" is breaking the law when it encourages youths to violate the Security Service Law.

The group offers information, encouragement and escorts for youths who wish to refuse to serve in the military. The group's website declares: "We, a group of feminist women and men, are convinced that we need not live in a soldiers' state… We call for the recognition of men and women's right to express their social commitment by means of alternative civic service, conducted through a broad array of community services including work with non-governmental, voluntary organizations."
