Shkedi: Every Problem has a Solution
Eliezer Shkedy, who last week retired as head of Israel's Air Force, said in a weekend interview that Israel was likely to be hit by thousands of missiles in the possession of Hamas, Hizbullah and Syria. He called recent events in Lebanon, which have greatly enhanced the status of Hizbullah in the country, “very worrying.”
With that, Shkedi said he was sure Israel could deal with the problem. “I don't think there is any military problem that does not have a solution. During my career I have come across several problems that seemed beyond solution,” but that were eventually resolved, he said.
