The Supreme Court rejected an appeal from Prime Minister Ehud Olmert on Thursday night. Olmert’s attorneys had asked the court to bar early testimony from United States businessman Moshe (Morris) Talansky in a case involving allegations that Olmert took bribes.
State prosecutors decided to take testimony from Talansky in 10 days. The sooner Talansky testifies, the more accurate his statements are likely to be, prosecutors argued.
