Hizbullah: Things to Normalize After Gov't Capitulates

(IsraelNN.com) Hizbullah second-in-command Sheikh Naim Kassem said Thursday that the terrorist group would "return things to normal" after the Lebanese government revokes the two decisions against the organization that touched off factional fighting last week.

Kassem made the promise after a meeting with leaders from Arab nations who arrived in Beirut to try and put an end to the violence, the worst to hit Lebanon since the end of its 15-year civil war in 1990. Last week's violence was touched off when the western-backed government fired the airport security chief, Brig.-Gen. Wafiq Shoukair, for suspected ties to the terrorist group, and outlawed Hizbullah's independent telecommunications network.
