Three students were arrested in clashes between Jews and Arabs at Tel Aviv University on Thursday, due in part to the Islamic Movement's anger that the institution's Student Day was held on "Nakba" ("Catastrophe" in Arabic) Day, marking the creation of the Jewish State. Jewish and Arab students began fighting after the Arab students began waving Palestinian Authority flags.

Some 200 students were involved in the protest.
