(IsraelNN.com) Attorney Uri Messer is likely to testify against his friend and client Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, suspected of taking bribes, according to transcripts of testimony released by the Jerusalem District Court. "We see a possible scenario in which attorney Uri Messer will be a witness for the prosecution and not be accused, prosecutor Eli Abarbanel stated.

The Prime Minister is suspected of asking for and using money given to him in cash by American businessman Morris Talansky. The May 6 testimony was released after court appeals by two Israeli newspapers. Talansky will testify in 10 days.
