Bush Calls Peres a 'Wise Soul'
(IsraelNN.com) American President George W. Bush has arrived at the President's House in Jerusalem and described his host as a "wise soul" whose comments reflect his wisdom. President Bush described Israel as "our strongest friend and ally in the Middle East."
He said he is happy to help celebrate the 60th anniversary of the re-establishment of the Jewish state. "If you look back 60 years and try to guess where Israel would be…, people would say [it] would be surrounded by hostile forces…but would not be able to see modern Israel with so much optimism. What happened here is possible everywhere."
