Two Israeli students who were reported missing earlier in the week following a massive earthquake in China have been located. The two, Einat Bilu of Jerusalem and Maayan Sabag of Tel Aviv, were lightly wounded in the quake but are otherwise well. Representatives from the Israeli consulate plan to meet with the two. At least three other Israelis are reported to be in China, but it is not yet known if they were in the vicinity of the earthquake.
Chinese officials reported Wednesday that the official death toll from the earthquake had risen to over 12,000. Roughly 7,700 people were killed in the city of Yingxiu near the epicenter of the quake.
