The Israel Land Administration (ILA) has notified IKEA that it must vacate its lot in Rishon LeZion by mid-July, according to Globes business news.
The notification was issued following a court ruling five months ago that the tender won by IKEA was tailored for the company was therefore null and void.
IKEA appealed the ruling to the Supreme Court and lost. Even though a local committee has now approved the IKEA store, it must demolish what has already been built to comply with the court order.
