(IsraelNN.com) A new web site seeks to place Jerusalem at the center of the cultural and culinary world, in addition to the spiritual and religious.

Jerusalemite.net plans to be a resource to both the religious and secular Jewish world in providing a platform to both know what is going on in the holy city, in addition to empowering readers to contribute their reviews of restaurants, theaters and even synagogues.

The founders of the site say they seek to make Jerusalem a unifying entity for Jews online as well as off. Though they have not yet advertised, thousands visit the site each week from world of mouth and a group page on the popular Facebook site.
