Vice Prime Minister Chaim Ramon (Kadima) told Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Mortinos Tuesday that Israel's cooperating with moderate Arab countries will enable it to put an end to the Hamas rule in Gaza. He included Saudi Arabia in the list of what he called moderate Arab countries.

"Allowing Hamas to rule in Gaza would be a grave mistake," the Vice Prime Minister added. "Hamas is a part of the evil axis of Iran, Syria and Hizbullah."
