(IsraelNN.com) In a split 6-5 decision, the High Court ruled the controversial Citizenship Law is legal but warned it comes dangerously close to trampling on the human rights of citizens. The court understood that 26 naturalized Israeli Arab citizens were involved in terror attacks after becoming naturalized citizens. That was a major argument by the state against accepting the petitions which sought to invalidate an amendment to the law, which prohibits ‘family unifications’ of PA residents married to Israeli Arab women.
