Mofaz Supports Terrorist Release in Exchange for Shalit

(IsraelNN.com) Noam Shalit, father of kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit, said Monday that it is "inconcievable" that Israel would consider a temporary ceasefire with Hamas without securing the release of the hostage. Also Monday, Deputy Premier Shaul Mofaz said that he would support the release of Arab murderers in exchange for the release of Shalit, but refused to answer a question posed by Army Radio reporter Razi Barkai about whether he would vote to approve the ceasefire agreement if it does not include releasing Shalit.

Egyptian intelligence chief Omer Suleiman is in Israel Monday to present details of the proposed agreement to defense officials.
